Courses

How many practitioners nowadays would be able to help their patients through an acute bronchitis or pneumonia? More and more the public are turning towards more natural forms of medicine, while osteopathy, it seems, is content to become merely a form of physical therapy. By following this path we are not only abandoning our heritage, but also our patients. It is perhaps because of dissatisfaction with the narrowing field of osteopathic practice that the Institute has undergone a revival in the 80's.

The Institute is pleased to announce that it can now offer part-time, post-graduate courses open to all recognised osteopathic practitioners. Successful completion of the course may lead to membership of the Institute. Members of the Institute may be recognised by the designated letters M.l.C.O or F.I.C.O.
